Our people have sophisticated fax and email software at their disposal to send multiple fare and schedule options directly to travelers. Each Hewins Travel employee has high speed Internet access, uses an advanced wide area telecommunications network, and has full access to all airline fares and schedules including Jet Blue and Southwest, as well as so-called web fares.
Our industry leading online booking system, TravelPort, offers clients real time access to all major carriers including Southwest! You won't find that on Expedia or Orbitz! When you book online at Hewins Travel you are never simply an e-mail address. Every booking is reviewed by one of our travel professionals prior to ticketing. Make a mistake and we find it. When you buy online from others, make an error and it's too bad!
Our accounting and MIS staff operates TRAVCOM and iBank, which are the most advanced hardware PC/Windows based MIS/Accounting systems designed by industry leading travel companies for travel agents. Our systems give us the ability to track virtually any travel transaction. We can produce a wide variety of reports and data for many travel management purposes, including credit card reconciliation, travel policy enforcement and vendor negotiations. We also provide web-based reporting for clients to access on their own.
